When I first participated in the Congress in Katowice in 2011,I was very inspired by the ambition of creating an assembly and forum for SME, but also the idea of creating a joint event on the Europe – wide level. In the moment, after 2 years, the fact of the presence of President Bronisław Komorowski, the representatives of Polish Parliament, European Parliament and a numerous delegation of representatives of all European countries and entire world, cofirms the rank of the event. Small and medium – size enterprises drive the economic growth, they are the main source of innovation and implementation of new products on the market, and, to a great extent, they limit poverty and social exclusion. They are also an important generator of workplaces, especially in innovation – related professions.
