Recommendations of the II European SME Congress

Tadeusz Donocik, President of the CCI in Katowice will soon personally hand over the conclusions of the II European Congress of Small and Medium - Size Enterprises to the President of the Republic of Poland - Bronisław Komorowski. A project of the II European Congress of Small and Medium - Size Enterprises act will be attached.

– By means of Recommendations we are expressing the message of the II European Congress of Small and Medium - Size Enterprises directed to the European Parliament, politicians and entrepreneurs - said Tadeusz Donocik, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice. - First effects of the congress are already noticeable at the local level. Cieszyn has organized a conference on strong and weak points of the regional economy, directed to city councillors. Next conferences are planned to be held in Czechowice - Dziedzice and Pawłowice Commune.    

II European Congress of Small and Medium - Size Enterprises in numbers  

II European Congress of Small and Medium - Size Enterprises was attended by 3 thousand participants and 250 experts. During 4 days of debates, 27 foreign delegations from 21 countries visited Katowice, among others from: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Portugal, Azerbaijan. On 24th - 27th September, 68 discussion panels took place in 8 locations (Academy of Music, Faculty of Law and Administration, Vice Chancellor's Office and The Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library of the University of Silesia; Silesian Voivodeship Office, Office Center, Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice, Euro - Centrum).
