Economic Cooperation Europe-East as an important topic

Dynamic changes and new challenges

Economic cooperation with the countries of the Customs Union, especially with Russia, is now one of the more pressing topics. The dynamics of changes in today's political relations with the countries of the European Union and East states determines the current and future shape of economic relations not only in Europe but globally. Therefore it is important to ask about the perspective of such cooperation, possible directions of future development, as well as the legal, institutional and cultural aspects. Experts invited to a panel will discuss how Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises can take advantage of the current economic situation in the East and what conditions must be fulfilled by governments, business institutions and entrepreneurs themselves, to deepen the cooperation between the European Union, the countries of Central Europe and the East.

For discussion in the context of the above issues have been invited, among others, Ekaterina Bieliakowa Minister, Sales Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Poland, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz, the President of the Economic Society of Russia Poland, Marek Ociepka, Counsellor, Minister for Trade and Investments in Moscow.

A free trade area between the EU and the USA also at the Congress

Among the thematic panels at the Fourth European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises you will also find topics related to the new possibilities offered by free trade zone between the EU countries and the USA (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) that is negotiated from year 2013. Entry into force of the Treaty will create better conditions for the export of European goods to the American market for example. Experts will also discuss issues of searching for business partners from overseas, as well as the preparation of Polish enterprises to enter to a new market.
